bigrustypig wrote: Thanks, William. But 2 things: 1) this is way over-priced, way too much 2) I am not sure Seiko issued this at all. Most likely it's a mod with the Yellow Monster dial as the base and then the bezel colored green in much the same way to did in blue to your Tissot.:) I think you may be right Jeff, I was trying to find this watch anywhere else on the web except eBay and had no luck

Well apparently Nabco, it's the real thing... No home-made-up... Still, the auction ended at 910$ with shipping:shock: Jeff is right: It's way too expensive for just a different paint job. Still the same 7S36 caliber inside: I'm far to be expert but this movement is no "extra-woawoa" apparently Jeff: What's your opinion on the MVT? 1881 pieces was made... Note that on the German forum, they say that the watch sold in Thailand for 18.181 Thai Bahts... 545$ on today's value. So the Bay guys want to put 500buks in them pocket:D Speak on abusing the popular market: Imagine: I take your car, paint it green and try to sell it back to you 6 times the price

I really like the watch but agree with you Will, I would not pay that much for it, however there were several people on that auction that were willing to pay that price to each his own

But it's your own choice and judgement... You don't have to follow the craze of the crowd... Connective-hysteria for watches has it's limits: When you get robbed.
