Hey 3T - Hope you don't mind, but I wanted to post a few pics of my Steinhart. I tried to get some lume shots, but this watch doesn't have such great lume... oh my.gif

Other then the crappy lume, the watch is great. Sits pretty big on my wrist @47mm. Seems even bigger with the steering wheel...I mean crown.subtlelaugh.gif

Anyway, hope you enjoy.

I tried to capture that the plates are a different color (gray, actually) then the rest of the movement. Unfortunately, with the lighting it's very difficult. It's really a beauty. They did a fine job.

Big Congrats, TenboshThumbsUp02.gif.

I saw this on your DWC post and this has been on my radar for a few months now. I'm surprised the lume is weak because I think this uses C3 Superluminova like my Steinhart NavB...and the lume on that one is excellent.

One matter stopping me from getting this one is the 30m water-resist rating and although it's just fine for daily use at the office, somehow I would have preferred something more superior like 100m....

It's a beautiful watch, however, and is still on my radar. I'd use a nice croc pattern leather strap for this one though.

Enjoy it in good health.

Hmm, I may not have been patient enough to charge it up. I was using an incandescent bulb. I may try the sun this time!! Clear and 90+ in Jersey today!

Good thought on the croc strap...got me thinkin!

Thanks! Good idea. Lume isn't bothering me that much anyway.

I have the same watch and it looks fantastic on your wrist. I put a black crock strap on mine and it looks very rich.

The lume on the watch is superluminova but....it is the black lume. Gunter used the black lume to have a sharp contrast on the dial during the day. It will not match the Nav B but it is ok.

Do not wait on this watch. It is a limited edition and they are going fast.

Enjoy!

(nice pics too!!!)

this is a awesome Flieger and great pics!...Congrats!....the black lume is a nice touch but it doesn't have the lume as the other superluminova colors have....unless applied very thick it just doesn't glow....hopefully it is being perfected so that it will match C-3 someday cuz' it really does have a nice contrast ...especially on this silver dial!bravo.gif

Beautifull model! Did you try to load the lume with UV light or "black light" ? That's what I used lately and the lume just pop out like crazy after a short exposure on any watch.fart.gif
