Recently finished these. First is a JSAR auto conversion and next is a Wilson Mil-Sub snowflake dial/hands mod (Inspired by Oscar's Kobold mod). Sorry for the poor photos....

Remarkable! I like the transformations but I seem to be falling for the JSAR more.....it's really robust. Big Congrats!

interesting, there was an auto JSAR on WUS today, how does it affect the value to change the watch like that? Its like putting a diesel engine in an E Type Jag?

Personal preference I guess on the value, I know a replacement quartz works is about $15 where an eta 2824 new is around $120. Me, I'd take the auto anyday...

I also like the Mil-sub snowflake mod. The snowflake design is more pleasing to me than the mercedes hand. Apples and Oranges I guess. You did an awesome job!

I really like the Marathon divers, too bad that most of them are so little but the JSAR is perfect: Except the quartz mvt inside....Then, you've done the right thing! Too bad that Marathon still didn't understand it. RussellB: Ripping a cheapo quartz for putting an sturdy auto: Is the real upgrading! I would prefer a V12 engine than any electric motor on a sport car...That's how I would compare it if we should speak of cars...
