I've got angry at work this morning after being depressed for most of August.

I couldn't control my anger and took off my 1949 IWC Caliber 89 and smashed it against the ground until the watch was destroyed to the point where it was no longer able to be repaired.

I've picked up the remnants of the watch and throw it into a garbage can.

This was the same watch that I've posted earlier in July.

It's like being a car collector and driving your prized 1963 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso into a tree to see if you can walk away from the accident.

I haven't felt as though I've missed the watch, but it will hit me like a ton of bricks in the next few days.

Simon

After what I've done, I was fortunate that I didn't get banned from my 3-T membership. If this was posted on the IWC sponsored Forum, my account would have been deleted.

Thank you Khronos and Antoine for your kind support.

Kind regards,
Simon

There's some moments in life when many things been going wrong, one after another...
The thing is to accept that YOU ARE NOT the only factor inside those happenings.
When you will accept that, you will stop to punish yourself like you did by smashing this beloved watch.
It's just an unlucky and temporary accumulation of facts. They never last, keep faith Simon!
Getting a new IWC cal 89 is not as hard as climbing the Everest: You'll get another one buddy
