I hope this does not deleted on account of it being political. I make no political comment. All I ask is "How much can you hate someone, to execute them with a mortar round?"!!!

We are talking about facts there: Facts that nobody can deny my friend.
This regime would never have survived without the help from it's big neighbor... What happened in Cambodia, the Vietnamese communistic experiment and the similar regime in Burma has the same flavor.
It's part of the will to overtake the whole earlier IndoChina and it's resources.
It will collapse as there is no future in this oppressive politic: The need for freedom of thinking and expression is stronger than any bullets.
And now, the aggression sprays to the east, confronting Japan.
Tokkotai, the divine wind of fury will blow again...

And I agree with you on all counts; well apart from the Tokkotai bit. I wouldn't necessarily mind Japan standing up to China; I just think that it has bigger problems at the moment and, militarily, she has started to lag behind...

Japan is a sleeping beast my friend.
And it don't stand alone anymore...
On another side, China is rusting up it's fleet with modified retired Russian boats: We all know what it's worth...
They been sold away: Better than to "accidentally" crash them on the Norwegian coast.

I know exactly what you mean! The salvage / towage company my father used to work for had a contract to tow a retired Russian aircraft carrier to Greece to convert to a floating casino. Eventually, it ended in Chinese hands. That's how good they are!!!

You got the finger on it.
They are modified and I even suspect that they are cut in 2 to add a middle part for elongation.
Like some oil tankers was upgraded into super-tankers years ago in suspicious countries: Result was boats breaking in two at first storms and definitive ban from leading insurance companies.

Public stoning would have been much cheaper and more environment-friendlysubtlelaugh.gif

They don't need that amigo: There, when people are starved enough, they eat each-other...
