Hey guys,

I am looking for an tool/diver chrono.

Need a watch for harder use, harder conditions and harder environment. For easy day use.

Requirements for this watch:

> quartz movement
> at least 200 m water resistance
> if possible a micro brand

Some thoughts of me:

- Bali Ha'i Projetct Model C
- Oscar's Dievas Divergraph ;-)

I hope you guys have many suggestions ! ThumbsUp02.gif

So I'm looking at this thread, seeing tool/diver/chrono and with the requirement of Quartz I had to think about it just a bit, as nothing immediately came to mind.

I think you've got a couple great contenders there with the Bali Ha'i Model C Chrono and the Dievas Divergraph...both of those models should be tough as nails, and meet your requirements.

Then it hit me...Seiko Solar Diver Chronograph...I have not owned this one personally, but it seems to have some good reviews and you know Seiko...it's gonna be very well built and lume like a torch.

I'd add that one to your list as it seems to meet all your requirements, and its available in a bunch of color combos (blue highlights, yellow highlights, red highlights, pepsi theme, etc) on both ss bracelet and rubber strap.

Hey Chris my friend,

big thank you for your reply.ThumbsUp02.gif

Of course, the SEIKO SSCxxx solar diver. I forgot to list this watch when I open this thread. mistake.gif

Love the robust overall look of the SEIKO. Especially the screw down chrono pusher.
Like the contrast between the black bezel & pushers and the ss case of the yellow version.

The yellow and blue versions are my favorites of this model.

Looks really cool on a ZULU.

It is not easy to find a quartz chrono like these three

I agree buddy!

I had to sort of rack my brain to think of something that would fit ALL of your requirements...there really aren't that many that meet all of your criteria!

I think you've got 3 good ones to choose from though!thumbsup.gif

Yes...I believe Citizen may have a few options with chrono function and at least 200m water resistence.

They have an eco-drive scuba fin chrono (available in Blue or Orange versions, but it looks to me like the strap is integrated to the case...which I don't really like).

Looks like there's also the Aqualand line of Dive Chronos too.  (I have to admit, I don't know the Citizen line very well at all).

And then there's a couple more options in the Citizen Eco-drive Promaster Chrono line...

This one even includes a depth gauge (Citizen Eco Drive Promaster Depth Meter Chronograph).

This first one below isn't bad, but I still think I prefer the chrono-layout of the Seiko Solar Chrono.

Hey Chris,

thanks a lot for your other suggestions buddy. ThumbsUp02.gif

The Citizen scuba fin chrono looks nice, but like you say - the integrated strap
disqualified the watch.

But have you the reference for this watch ?

The promaster chronos looks cool, but I don't need a watch with depth gauge. I already have Citizen watches with that feature. And this feature pushes the price up.

PS: OK, I have the reference for the scuba fin chrono

Fair enough...looks like you found a reference for the scuba fin models (I agree, the integrated strap deletes it as a contender).

Like I said, I don't know the Citizen lineup very well at all...just throwin' em' out there.

Are you finding anything else out there?

I like the Citizen line up too, but it's nothing like what I'm looking at the moment.

This one looks really impressive and technical.

The BaliHa'i Model C is my favorite at the moment. Really nice and unique chrono with big pushers and crown. Cool vintage style. Love the big minute stopwatch hand. And water resist up to 200m ThumbsUp02.gif

On the second place is the SEIKO solar diver chrono.

So far I have found nothing more. But I'll keep looking a little longer. Maybe I'll find something more.

If you remember anything else, please let me know . ThumbsUp02.gif

How about a Luminox from the Colormark series? I like mine, but it does not have a screwdown crown.

I would not recomend buying the chronograph version new. (Overpriced).

Hi Patrik,

thanks for your suggestion !

Cool stealth look. But that is not what I am looking for.
Too "military" for me.

Military is my thing, but not at this time.

This Citizen I have seen a few days ago. The overall look is not 100%.
