Sooner or later one just has to take a look at the inside. I did not plan to take any photos. But since i found a piece of fiber inside, i snapped a few pics. Unfortunately, i took the photos after i removed the fiber.

Dont know if everything looks good since i have no idea what all these cogs and wheels are for. Though, i like the view anyway.

This piece of red fiber sat/stuck on the lower right part of the metal that says Omega.

(One square on the paper is 5*5mm).

[/sPatrik, have your watch checked. I think it's on a high giber diet and has a mind of its ownize]dog smile.gif

Seriously, i think the technician's shirt was new and a fiber dropped into the case. Good you found it.

Thanks gents!

I really wanted to see the movement with my own eyes up close. Seen many photos of it on the net, but its very different when one can hold it with your own hands under a magnifying glass.

That red fiber did not worry me since it was not caught up inside the cogs. But it sure took me by surprise when i found it. The previous owner might have left it there. He might have done like me. Wanted to see the movement and opened up the case on his own.

The watch was fully serviced in 2011, so its not too far off in the future before its time for another one. Omega recommends having it done every 4-5 year if the watch is used daily, and its has definitely been used every day.
