Hey guys,

since some days I'm back in possession of a SEIKO Sumo.

The 6R15 has a power reserve of 50 hours.

My first Sumo has a power reserve of 52h. That was great.

But my new Sumo runs after 61 hours still. homerthinks.gif

How can that be ?

What is your experience with this movement ?

[size=4 Herr Philipp, hard to say because I only wore my Sumos straight 4 days soon after I bought them. And then one day at a time on rotation thus I hardly monitor. Experience though is about 48 hours and sometimes 50. 61 hours is way too long, I never heard about this....but you should be happy.

I don't know Phil...as I've never monitored my SUMO after a full wind and just letting it chill to see how long the reserve lasts.

I guess a power reserve run may be in order with mine...I'll let you know what I find out.

I think they sold you the super-duper power reserve LE version...Seiko only built a rumored quantity of 3 of those bad boy super-reserve versions! bamby.gif thumbsup.gif

After my Sumo has stopped running, I have a power reserve of 71 hours. crap.gif

This is absolutely impressive, but almost impossible to believe.

Chris, it would be interesting what your Sumo have for a power reserve.

Herr Philipp, now that you've made me curious about the Sumo PR, I'll pull out my Sumo and check out the PR. I will update you.

That's a close guess Phil.

Mine ran for 55 Hours total in the 'face-up' position. thumbsup.gif
