Nice Phil. Really like that tapered strap you selected for your SSW...thumbsup.gif...what are the specs on that one? Great looking combo!

Thank you my friend !
I like that combo a lot.

The lug size of the strap is 20mm.
The widest point (directly on the lugs of the watch case) are 22,5mm.
I hope you understand what I mean.
Buckle size is 16mm.
So the strap tapers down from 22,5mm to 16mm.

The original strap is an Bonetto Cinturini.

I ordered the strap via WatchGecko because the BC strap isn't available at this time.

The strap is very very comfortable.
And has the matched vintage feel to the watch.

I put a blasted 16mm buckle on the strap to hit the blasted case perfectly.

Thanks for the details on the strap my friend! you rock.gif

Your details are perfectly stated...I could tell that the strap flared beyond the 20mm lug width at the thickest point, which looks great on the SSW imo! bravo.gif

Great combo for the SSW!

It is my favorite combo on the SSW68.

My concern was that the 16mm width is to thin for the SSW. But it's not.

Thanks Phil. Good point on the taper, but glad it works. For reference the Zodiac rubber strap that came with mine is 20mm at the lugs, and tapers down to 18mm at the buckle.

Interesting information.
I thought it would 20 to 20.

Unfortunately it's not available separately.
