Just a note for any that did not make it onto the reservation list, it would appear that someone is not overly extatic about this beauty. Here's a chance to get one if Berg does not have any more:

http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?s=937de5ca99f27d48a4ee5075a188dedb&t=97091

I for one am awaiting Berg's delivery via our oh so slow postal system here in Canada.

Cheers
Mike

Double checked the posting and someone had second thoughts and appears to be keeping his beauty.

Sorry Folks

It would appear that the seller was not that type of person, the watch was being offered at a discount to the great price that was offered by Berg, so if there had not been a change of heart someone would have achieved a nice score!!

Cheers
Mike

Saw that. I would imagine they will show up on the secondary market soon enough. Personally I couldn't see giving up an Orsa...

that was fast!  i am curious why he is selling it , i am not suprised , the same thing happend with the sea angler remember? after it was sold out , the anglers was sold twice the retail price.

i did ship to the 3t members first , not everyone reponded to my paypal invoice so my other customers  was contacted , i did ship a couple of monstrum  by fedex because the were willing to pay the extra$$$

for the record , i still have monstrum in stock.

Hello guys, I'm the idiot who almost sold the Orsa as soon as I got it. I'm a lurker here, I hang over on the other forum. It was strictly an impulse due to having purchased a lot of watches lately. When I got the paypal notice, I felt the, uh-oh feeling, not now. So when I got the watch I hardley looked at it and posted For Sale(NOT FOR PROFIT). Then I came over here and looked at some of the posts and thought, I'm an idiot and pulled the for sale thread. Sized the strap this morning and absolutley LOVE the watch. Will sell something else. So maybe I'm not an idiot.

Goalie, have not seen any mention you are an idiot. Just posted your link to avail any other members the opportunity to get the newest edition of a great Orsa watch. Curiousity was raised as there are some who pruchase for profit and as you saw and say you are not that type.

We wish you many happy days wearing the Monstrum (don't gloat, mine has not even arrived yet and I was one of the first to order - not Martin's fault - he and I just live so far apart and the postal system within our country is not the fastest).

All the best
Mike

No Mike, I called myself an idiot. Close call, I've made impulse buys before never an impulse sell! As far as the watch, I'm usually a bracelet guy but I have to say the strap on this is very comfortable, although I will probably still purchase the bracelet if one becomes available. If I had one minor, very minor complaint, it would be I wish the side of the bezel was the same bead blasted look as the case. The bezel side is a shiny chrome look which I wonder if I can remove and have done.
