I am not allowed to even view the forums - - all I get is a screen that says I have been banned for "No reason specified." I guess they didn't like my thread complaining that my 'mild' Doxa post had been deleted. Beware!

I have a feeling they didn't appreciate the DOXA related thread you began. WUS is a sales driven, revenue earning forum. DOXA is a major contributor, tread lightly.

Ouch, sorry to hear that Tom. From the looks of it, more than a few have been banned because of the Doxa threads, I see Mike H. has been bounced too. What a shame, posters who contributed greatly to the forums bounced because they asked the "wrong" question... Best regards, Griff

Wow! what did you post up? I did my best to get banned on the ocean7 forum, Had 4 letter words with mods, and didn't get the boot. So confess man! I need some ideas:D

First I disagreed with another member who espoused letting bygones be bygones regarding John V. after he patched up his quarrel with Doxa. I said it's incomprehensible to just let the guy off scott free after he lobbed all those grenades into the Doxa forum, including dirty company laundry allegations he now retracts, leaving a path of trash in his wake. Somebody (John P. of Doxa?) deleted my post. I then posted a thread in Affordables decrying the deletion of my post in the Doxa Forum. So this morning I try logging on but just get a "banned" screen instead. Seems a bit too harsh a response to me, especially having been a solid WUS member for five years!

obie put a sticky on the Doxa forum about following the rules according to Doxa and anyone who is negative will be banned. So your at banned camp now. Coolhand6.gif So if you disagree with Doxa or other members about a post or thread you can now be Banned? If your Doxa falls apart in your hands, you can't say its a piece of crap?

A couple of years ago I was nearly punted off for saying that I thought putting the name "Dirk Pitt" on the dials of the remaining 600T's was a dumb idea. Got an email from Rick telling me not to make posts like that. JCKoLnturn is right in his read on WUS. Speak too negatively about a sponsored brand and goodbye. I guess they have the right to be the editors on their own forum, but they are sure heavy handed. I don't think they realize the negative backlash it has with customers.

Well banning you is WUS' loss Tom. Join the club, I've been temporarily banned from WUS myself. They are really over moderating the forums, in particular the official Dox forum after Lord Vargas' allegations. I agree with you that he can't just say sorry and then everything is hunky dory. They don't want to hear it!! Just another reason WUS bites compared to this forum. There is no free flow of ideas... Oh, I know, they own the forum and so forth... Big hit for Doxa and I don't know how forthright they are being with their response to the situation.
