I should have been clearer Shep...sorry Buddyhand6.gif....In my experience of late many of the new buyers on the sales forums are not easy to deal with as in the past.....much due to inexperience or just trying to get you to give your watch away subtlelaugh.gif....I don't sell much anymore and have thought of turning to Ebay myself as it seems to be less of a hassle ......I have guys e-mailing with super low ball prices and telling me what my watch is worth as if  they are doing me a favor mistake.gif.....our usernames used to be our reputations and to most still is,but that also seems to be disappearing with WIS who change their usernames from forum to forum....What's up with dat!!!
Oagaspar, I missed your qualifier "in this situation" in your first post.Sorry.
I see your point for a "in this situation" transaction, there would be no reason not to cut out the middleman if there was a comfortable trust between the buyer and seller.

LOL yea I see many different usernames. Sometimes I know if it is the same person others not sure. From 1995 to now on forums of all types I have used "Skipdawg" ;) Got it as a nickname in the navy in 1985 and it stuck. LOL :D

There is some fella who uses it on MySpace and another blogger using it but iIwas the first the original. yourock.gif
