It seems that way.  I just got into this hobby within the past year, but as of right now, most of them don't do anything for me.  For a more casual look, I've been drawn much more to the pilot style.

I do divers, but my favorite style is military/pilot...and by military, I mean classic military like the JL below, not TSAR, JSAR, CSAR, etc.

I go back and forth, started with chronos, then a couple military style watches, then to divers, back to chronos, and just picked up some classic pilot style watches around the beginning of the year.  My last couple purchases have been military (CWC G10) and chrono (Dievas Divergraph).

I'll chime in with Skip and say my all time favorites are diver chronographs!  I am so mad at myself for missing the Accutron V7750's that were just on Shnoop

Cheers,
Griff

I think we are getting style and movement mixed up here.  Chronograph would be a type (not brand) of movement and as such could be incorporated into any style such as diver, pilot, military, dress, etc.

Men will always be into the gadget/tool aspect of Dive watches. I like the worry free aspect of not having to panic if I am swept away by a tsunami. I am 50/50 I tend to like Chronographs just as much or more.

It has to glow first and foremost. No Chrono's for me.

I like Pilot style, Divers, diver style, GMT, and three-hand mechanicals. :D
