Dude, a bar of soap!! thats too evil. :(:( Hence thats why i concur with wat everyone has said, u buy the seller as much as the watch. Sometimes a few dollars extra is worth it.

woah...this kinda freaked me out now. Not to generalize or put all Canadians in a corner. But I am just now talking to a Canadian about buying a watch for about $800. He does use a @yahoo.com adress but that might not mean anything.

He has sent good pictures of the watch of high resolution and haven't really put out any vibes about not being genuine. But it is still somewhat freakish with the timeing.

What would you recommend for making sure that everything is A OK?

Do a search on the username and watches with your fav search engine and see if anything negative comes up. Also ask for referances of someone you may know. If you then still feel uneasy feel free to PM his info to me and I can do some digging too for ya. ;)

When I lived in Chicago, I had friends who would  ...do some research on this guy, and make it clear his soap joke wasn't funny.

I'm also in Calgary and would love to join you. However, I think this scumbag is based out of Montreal.....as I've seen the "Jordan" first name mentioned in the past on Watchnet and he's been ripping people off for quite some time now.
