Sorry mate but I was told details is confidential. So I am not sure as well. Was told it is made in Germany. Looks like a 2824. IMO(true for watever movement) irregardless of where it is made in, as long as its timing good and constructed well, it makes a good movement. Agree?

I completely agree Anders...that if it is a good movement and runs/times well it will be good for WIS and manufacturers alikehand6.gif...does it have a clean finish as a eta....by this I mean not like the rough finish some of the Seagull eta clones have....is it refined ;)

Movement is refined and clean. Nothing of the sort you get from Seagull.

Thanks  for the info guys; I have been looking for legitimate alternatives to the 2824 for a while now and not having good luck, it sounds like some things are happening out there!  It would be nice if we could get some alternatives with similar quality but better pricing and especially availability!  I will also keep my eyes and ears open!

With all that is going on Teddy I would not be surprised to see prices continue to climb for at least 3 or 4 more years even with a injection of other comparable movement lines.
