SEIKO PROSPEX DIVER SCUBA KINETIC WATCH SBCZ015, is being offered on the Bay for $365 and the watch seems identical to the regular Seiko Kinetic SKA367P1 that are going for about $200. Any comments on this?

They look very similar particulalry the hands, dial color and even the subsidiary narrow band on the crown. The Prospex line , however, is the premium automatic diver's line of Seiko and thus commands higher prices than other regular Seiko divers. It is also made in Japan and destined for the Japanese market. However, the Prospex is a little bigger (44mm diameter, 14.1mm thick) than your SKA367P1 (41.5mm, 15mm thick).

Should this be then a difference similar to the SKX013 and the 007? I have found a new SKX009 in Singapore for $145.00 delivered but it is the K version while the J version is worth about $80 to $100.00 more on the bay. Is the worksmanship that much better? Is the difference in origin that different to validate paying more?

The K version is made in Asia. The J version is made in Japan. From what I learned from my research some time back, there is a US$20 higher inspection cost for the J version in Japan. In my opinion, paying US$80 more for the J version viz the K version is not worth it. Personally, based on all my experience on Seikos, there is very, very little difference on quality particularly because Seiko is fiercely committed to quality and value. I have Seikos that date back to 1978 and they still work almost as good as new.
