I don't care for the Sumo. The watch looks top heavy (to me) due to the fat lugs. The bracelet appears to be too small fitted between the robust lugs. Needs thinner lugs and a wider bracelet. IMHO.

I'd pick the Helson. whichone.gif

Chino Watch is where I ordered mine -- they are an AD in Tokyo. Excellent service, quick shipping, good prices.

I have owned none of these, so take this for what it's worth...I hear great things about folks who purchase the Sumo, and I really like the looks of the Helson, though you probably couldn't go wrong with any of the three.

Good luck.

Yep. Majority rules subtlelaugh.gif Sumo in blue is your winner amongst these choices IMHO. Don't be surprised at how "black" the blue looks in some light situations, though. I have owned both black and blue Sumos. Supremely comfy and killer lume!

Upgrade the bracelet with a Marinemaster clasp (to get the ratchety extension) (also available from Higuchi or from the secondary market on occasion) and you'll have yourself a fine watch.

Cheers and good luck! Show us when you decide!

You can also try http://www.chronograph.com  He sells the Sumos and also carries the Marine Master SBDC 001.

I'm with Sumo blue too. ;)
Sharkmaster as well, but wasn't in the running.
The Deep blue and Shark divers are huge, well the CD is too and looks like a hunk of metal. ;)
I think the Deep blue and Helson have lume bezels. ;)
good luck.

No matter what I'm going to choose the one i like the most regardless of the opinions , but I was just curious which one is favored the most, thanks guys!

Seiko Sumo (blue) my #1 pick as of now (i have a obsession with Seiko divers)

Helson Shark Diver (ETA)

Deep Blue Master 2000 Day/Date Diver

Boschtett Cave Dweller (ETA

As you can see they are all in the $500-$700 range, so if anyone has any more suggestions feel free to post them , thanks again!

I'm wondering which 1 you choose???whichone.gif

Also wanted to Thank You for the link to purchase a SUMO .

I FINALLY pulled the trigger after so many members raving about ithappy guy.gif.

My problem is that every-time I think of Seiko/Citizen I think of the calculator watches from back in the days, which ironically isn't even Seiko or citizen they were Casio's
& TO TOP IT OFF I have seen the new Spring Drives personally & they r a fantastic piece to any mans collection.mini me.gif
