Hello Fellows,

Is anyone here had any experience ordering custom watch or parts from Bill Yao? I just wanted to get some feedback cos I placed my order for custom hands and dial last Monday (April 17, 2006) and paid on the same day but Im not getting any acknowledgement from him.  I sent him follow up email to the email address written to his website for follow up order but still not gettting any response.

Regards,

Nando

I don't know about Bill Yao, but my experience with Kent Parks, and another well-known watch dial re-lumner (name escapes me at the moment) is that they will get back to you when they can. They are usually quite busy. Some have a second job and they get to their emails maybe once or twice a week.

So, when I email Kent Parks I know he will eventually get back to me. It just may be 4-5 days later.
:)

Maybe this week is the holiday week for many. So just wait a little longer and I think he will reply. Though I did not mod any watches with him, but I had emailed him for some questions, he replied me after 3 weeks! LOL!! I think he is a busy man.  Hence, just be a little patient and I think he will reply in no time.

Bill is often slow in replying due to his volume of calls/inquiries etc.

He usually makes any delays known on a couple of watch forums. You might check the MWR watch forum and inquire there.

He is a true WIS and your order is safe and secure albeit in line with dozens of others.

Just keep plugging away and be patient.

His work and his products are worth the time.

Good luck and let us see what you have in the finished product?

Nando,

I ordered from Bill, you will hear from him when the item ships next. It takes some time, but again...worth the wait:)

Could be my BM or buying a new 007. It depends on where the MOD dial and hands that I ordered will look better:?
