Ah ah! I bet there is a long list of folks waiting for me to buy it and then flip it :) I love the dial and hands and case aside from the lug and gotta love the customization options. Very tempting. Looks like it'll be a quality product

looks like there will be a hefty UPS brokerage and Customs fee due at the door upon arrival...up to an extra $100. ...this is very unusual imo...homerthinks.gif

The duty fees are really a bummer, but what can you do? I've waited this long for the watch, I'm not going to tell them to return it. I'll see about disputing the charges, but I'm not holding my breath.

I had that happen once before with a watch purchase from overseas. I can't recall which brand it was but it really pissed me off.  This really should have been made clear to all who purchased...mad.gif

it all depends on what Clemens/h2o put on the info sheet....if he put actual retail value of the watch components then the charge could be high...if he went the conventional way,as most of my watches arrive via fedex, ups overnight, as the sample below, then the cost will be very little to notta, which was the case here...note:below was the info sheet that came with one of my watches that cost the same as the h2o,the vendor/shipper kept the costs to the very low end, btw, the watch had a eta in it also, but since the watch was made in China, like the h2o,that was what was put in the "movement country of origin" slot..ThumbsUp02.gif

Sorry guys. My UPS guy ran early today! So I have to wait until 7:30 before I can go pick it up. Hopefully I can post some shots tonight.

You guys in the US are lucky, not being used to pay duties on imports.  Here we pay duties on every item imported, regardless of value.  The customs people have wised up too!  Regardless of value stated on documents, they will do their own internet research and determine a value for tax purposes, unless you can prove an actual transaction via ebay and paypal receipts.
Bummer, and that adds to our cost factor, bearing in mind our currency is quite weak against the $, Euro and Sterling.  oh my.gif

Here you are guys. This is a fun watch. I was worried about the size, but it's smaller than I anticipated and wears well. It's thick though. I love it.
