Like you, I'm not for this kind of strap arrangement either.
But some like it. At list G.P come with something "new" but as you say, there's a smell of other brands who been there...
Being very satisfied with the S.H.2 I look more forward to see this new chrono.
I still prefer this than A.P or Hublot anyway.
Right now Hublot come with models who nearly look like some Zlatoust with 4 crowns

Don't get me wrong - it is still a reasonably nice piece and "evolve or die" as they say.

It is just that, unless it is particularly stunning in the flesh, I shall be chasing a Hawk II Pro instead.

And definitely not that Hublot, which may possibly be the ugliest watch in the world...

No problem, I get you on thatThumbsUp02.gif
On my side, I wait to see the crown-guard profile of the S.H3 because it looked a bit slim from the top... I hope for a full view tomorrow.
The Hawk2Pro is somehow elegant in the design: This watch will still be actual in 20 years I'm sure. This line been existing since 2002-4 and it didn't loose it's charm.

There's always worst...But I would say that Tauchmeister should sue them in court for design theft...subtlelaugh.gif

I can see the defense developing: " My Lord, there has been no intellectual property theft; this is a whole different kind of ugliness..."

I already disliked the Hublot when they came out because of the rubber...
It looked cheap on an expensive watch: But now people want rubber everywhere and soon Patek will ruberise it's watches to be coolno.gif

Uncovered today as planed... I like the chrono.
The diver dial is superb but I'm not sure about so much rubber on it(even the crown)

Well the jury is back in and it's a crocadillapig for me.

The case and angles are not to my taste and whilst the dial is different it does remind me of an Android Diver style to a certain extent.

I still have the Hawk II Pro firmly in the cross hairs.

I would not exchange my 2.Pro against a 3.Pro...
Too much rubber for me there: Rubber dries and crack with time, specialy when it's exposed.
I don't see this material as a advantage on a watch: I never understood the rubber craze and I will never understand it apparently.
This and silicone are crap, I prefer the naturaldog smile.gif

Ah, but Will, the natural way can get you in trouble! Sometimes, you just have to use rubber subtlelaugh.gif
As for the GP3, now that I have seen more than renderings, I am not so sure anymore... I agree with you and Keelson - 2 Pro all the way!

In that case only, I agree...Still, no silicon: Can't get it as hard as titanium with a cyborg subtlelaugh.gif

Now, there's a question: Will the S.H.2-pro be produced anymore or does this new model replace it?
If I was you guys, I would not wait and see: The 2-Pro might be rare to see one day as I don't think G-P been producing any million serial.
