Thanks for sharing, Trent. If ever the DSC hits the market, it might be priced well into the 5 figure levels. Shucks!

If this watch ever hits the market, it will be very limited and all the exemplars will fly away before you even get to know that they ever came out Jeff...
This watch looks like an unbearable thing if you are not big yourself and in the need to get something to scratch your chin like Chuck Norris does...
Also the crystal pops so much that it looks like you have a transparent ice-hockey puck mounted on it: No big aesthetic there...
It was only conceived to be strapped on a submarine capsule amigo.

Bullseye, Sheriff. Even if I placed an order for one, all those super rich WIS will get first dibs. Great though to have an engineering marvel on the wrist....testament to a watch company's technological and engineering power thumbsup.gif

There's been other companies who have made a 12000m watch as well. I would say that it's certainly possible to make a 20000 m watch to say it so, but the question is: Would it be wearable? And what is the meaning back that?
A wrist watch is what it is: Made to be worn on the wrist and no human could swim around at 12000m deep.
Question is not: Can we make it? But more : Who wants to spend so much money to make it when it's not profitable?
Like a 1km high tower: We know since many years that we can do it but no investors was willing to do it because it's a "money loss project".

Some more reading.
The 51.4mm diameter is not too big for some of us and the 28.5mm thickness still wearable even it would not fit under one's cuff.
But anyway, when you wear monsters, you don't wear suits...? No?
Still, to be really wearable, I think they should have make the bezel coming up to the crystal's bevelled edge. I don't mean an extra thick bezel, I mean a kind of conic formed insert who would rise from the bezel grip to the crystal's bevelled edge.
But the price of 26-33000 US$ will stop all the skinny wristssubtlelaugh.gif
