Okay,

Here is the info. as of 8:20 PM PST -

1. Yes, we can run 33 - or 30 of the 3T series. We have the parts we need with the exception of the movements.

2. Yes, we can have it ready by the second week of December!

3. The tentative code name for this Orsa is "Festivus" - as in "It's another Festivus miracle"!

This is just the first idea for a code name, and there was some discussion of a "naming contest", I will leave that one with Oscar.

Martin and I will be coming out with the final pricing hopefully by Friday. Hang in there!

Would the 3T members be interested in a Contest to name the "Orsa 3T LE" or is the Orsa codename for the Project "Festivus" Cool with everyone hand6.gif....Orsa Watch has been naming all of their Limited Edition Sea Anglers like the new silver dial version due out in mid Nov.that Orsa named the  "Silver Surfer"...

PRICING -

Okay all -

Here is the "mostly" final word from Martin and me on the pricing:

You have two options - the majority will rule:

With an advance order of 25 - we will run 30 pieces (still sticking with the 3 theme), with an advance order of 28 - we will run 33 pieces

Option 1:  A black dialed Sea Angler with either a black or s/s bezel, engraved watch number, 3T logo in the 3T green, a 3T green minute or hour hand, certificate of ownership, mineral crystal, one year waranty, etc.  The cost for this will be between $550 - $575.  We have had to out source additional components that we did not have on hand, and we will need to go through three (yep, count em - 3) diffeent venders to get the dial the way we want it.  p.s. - we're happy to do it!  Our hope is for $550.00 plus whatever shipping option you opt for.

Please bear in mind that the price for the new Lume Model - code name still pending -is $500.00 and will have a run of 50 pieces, and I'll let you in on a little secret - it is a pain in the )*$ getting something done for only 30 or 33!  BUT YOU ARE ALL SO WORTH IT!!!  So please hear that with love - but also understand that we have more logistical issues to sort out with this than with the line coming directly from Switzerland, and thus the cost is a bit more.

Option 2:  Same as above, but with a completed "re-lumed" (indicies) dial in the 3T green, and possibly two (2) re-lumed hands, and - no this is not a promise, but we will see if it is do-able - a crystal upgrade.  The cost for this will be $650.00

Now, before ANYONE starts sending money, etc.  think these two options over.  A simple option would be for those of you who want to get your dial re-lumed to do that on your own after you buy the watch - same goes for a sapphire crystal.  That way we can be confident of bringing this baby in at or very near $550.00

I will also give you a heads-up - any future Sea Angler "special editions" will absolutely be a minimum of $100 more than the current "regular" Sea Angler pricing.

Also consider that the Orange and Black Sea Anglers are re-selling for $50 - $100 over original purchase price.   This is no guarantee that this will happen for this model, but there seems to be a very real "cult of Orsa" growing out there, and my suspicion is that Orsa collectors might really want one of these once they hear about them.

The ball - or fish - is in your court!

I will leave it to Oscar to work out with you guys which way you'd like to go on this!

I'm Old Schooled from K.I.S.S !...Keep It Simple Stupid :P:P Whatever it takes to keep the price down is what is in the best interest of the forum...unless Orsa would like to offer a choice hand6.gif
