Probably couldnt be replaced Ken as there were none available after a sellout (only 50 in the first production run).   The pepsi bezel was one of three alternatives: all black, orange and black or pepsi.    I think I like the pepsi better than the other two... imho...

Those have the eta 2893-2 movement in them.

Sorry...thought I linked it.  It is the one above...but the fact that a DOA had to be sent in for repair instead of it being immediately replaced speaks volumes to really S**tty customer service.

It's true, the first batch sold out too fast (?) to get a replacement, but to be fair, the procedure was fast and painless so far. Mitch apologogized multiple times, was very responsive and hooked me up directly with the Swiss Manufacturer. The Mfg promptly contacted me the next morning and I expect the watch to be back this week. Mitch also offered me a second bezel insert for the inconvenience. Let's see how it comes out. Movement is ETA, btw.

Hi Oscar,
the first batch was on sale at the beginning of march and sold out within a couple of days. Thanks to German customs, my G-1 arrived after the last one was sold :(
I mainly blame transportation for the fault of the watch (GMT hand was jumping), let's hope it gets back to me soon, as it is a real beauty on the wrist. I can't access photobucket from my office peecee, but I'll post some more pics this afternoon if there is interest.

Greetings,

Christian

Yes, I found the combo kinda exotic, too. Of the first 25 sold, only two people ordered that combo iirc.

I would really like to know what you had to say, Sean ;)

The G-1's have the 2893 in them.  He also has 100 2893's on contract for mid summer to use in the LM-6...
