ok...I modified the metal bracelet to fit my wrist...but I must have done something wrong... the pins that hold the links together keep coming out....(??) any suggestions?face4.gif

Since you mentioned a Monster bracelet, did you remember to push it into the little collar on the other side? The collar is very small and easy to lose - without it, the link pin will not be tight. 2 possibilities for you. First thing, look at the tool you used to push the link out of. Because the collar is split, it will often seat itself on the pin used to push out the link pin. Second option, if you removed more than 1 link from the bracelet, you can take out the pin holding those 2 links together, and use that collar. Be very careful, they are small (probably 2 or 3 mm's long). I would suggest doing the operation on a white dishcloth on a table, so you can spot it easily if it drops off. The collar itself is on the end of the pin that you push from. The other end of the pin has the collar fused on it. Good luck!

Unless you speak form experience, I disagree. If I'm wrong, let me know. Loctite is an anaerobic curing compound. It only dries in the ABSENCE of oxygen. No collars means its a loose fit, which means oxygen abound. So, no cure, EVER. That's why loctite works wonders on screws. again, if you speak from experience, then I will stand corrected. Thanks!
