Yeap, Breitling Rubber Strap is on its way...

Here's a short story.  As you may know, I have been looking for a Glycine Airman 17 for a couple of weeks.  I acutally found one from an AD with a great discount.  The discount was so unbeliable that I can't pass it up.  So I figure this would be a good time to ask my wife if it would be ok for me to buy one.   (recently she did a complete inventory of my "toys" so I can pass this one up as an "old" watch)  Anyway, I was starting my reasoning of why I need another watch and she started a series of questions..

    1.  Glycine - who makes that?
    2.  Are they new?  I never heard of Glycine...
    3.  I though you were done with watches...
    4.  Are you selling one of your breitlings to get this? Etc, etc, etc...

"REQUEST DENIED!"  Yes, sir.  No go on Glycine.  Instead she suggests to get another strap for my breitlings.  So she authorized me to purchase a diver pro rubber strap for my Emergency and Blackbird.  (good thing that both are 22mm)  So, I didn't hegitate to order one from my local AD.  It should be here sometime next week.  $75 well spent!

For the Glycine deal, one of my WIS friends purchased the Glycine.  Well, at least I get to try it on when the watch arrives.

I feel like Frank the Tank from the movie Old School...

I hate to say it, but my wife is pretty well kept in the dark on my purchases, until...the credit card statement comes in, then it's too late!  But I always pay down the card the amount the watch costs, before I order.  I know it's sneaky, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

Oh I sympathize with you guys, but guess what I got my wife so confuse as to how may watches I bought and how many I will sell to pay for the ones I bought, she told me (all her idea) that I should have a "my own watch savings account" and I would need a chunk of money to start out with, I just about fell over dead....I had to go drink a beer....her ending statement was "you Finley found a Hobie you truly love".  It was like every WIS dream come true statement (coming from there wife) that they wish for.........subtlelaugh.gif...yahoo.gif...yourock.gif
