I'm not thrilled with the initial shnoop reply which was: "Thank you for your recent purchase. As you can see, the watch that you received was 100% brand new. It was shipped out to us directly from the manufacturer. As such, it is fully covered under the manufacturer's warranty and you should not have any difficulty in getting the watch serviced by Bulova. Being that we are completely sold out of the Accutron VX-200 watches, the only other alternative would be to send the watch back to us for a full refund. Please let us know which you would prefer." That's all well and good, but there is no AD stamped warranty card with the watch, and why should I have to anti-up the $15 or so to send it either place (insured). Not to mention packaging it up and getting it shipped. I might as well take it to a local watch maker and have it fixed for $20 to $30 (I imagine)...hey, shnoop...check what you send out and stand behind what you sell!

That sucks. I got mine yesterday and it seems to work, although I did not look at it completely. The only think that got me worried was the side buttons working hard, but that should loosen up over time. As to the warranty, I read it and hope it does not have to be stamped, it said to send the registration in to have full 5 years, if not you get only 2 years. It did not say it had to come from AD. I questioned them on the warranty not being stamped by an AD...I have not yet received a reply. I'll run it to the watchmaker later and see if it is a minor repair...if not, I'll wait for their answer.
