As a Russian watch fan I have been interested in this model you found Mark, would you recommend or would you say leave it be?

Well Neo I have to say I like the watch a great deal though I was initially sceptical because of the lack of size.  I wouldn't pay full price however but think its a pretty good buy if you can grab it on the secondary market at a nice price. It is well put together and the lume is phenomenal. And it surely does run like a Russian through and through...whichone.gif

Yes a Slava movement at that price is worrying me a little, no offence to your watch as I really do like it a lot but Russians are not really known for this price at this end of the market with A modified Slava movement. whichone.gif

Poljot are the expensive brand and they are using ETA movements in there really expensive range although their own movements are really good. I still love a Russian subtlelaugh.gif

The Lum-Tec C1 is a beauty, congrats Pax!  It's one of those watches that I like everything about it, size, dial, lume and a unique and tough movement, I have a Slava with that same movement.  I've been eyeing them up for awhile but the original MSRP kept me away and finding others (like my new Alpinist).

If you ever decide to sell, let me know!

Cheers,
Griff

Good to hear from you Griff. You know I really like tis watch and I'm not sure I would let it go. I agree the MSRP is a bit steep but I grabbed this on the secondary market. I am adjusting to the size though it wears larger than it is. It was a bit of a shock to put it on this morning after having and Orsa Sea Viper on yesterday!whichone.gif
