The Irreantum Magellan in orange arrived this afternoon in a sturdy Seahorse waterproof box. After unwrapping multiple layers of cellophane I was ready to get at this oh so familiar looking watch. One note, I was surprised there was no paperwork or a warranty card.

First impressions are positive after removing four links from the bracelet I'm at a darn near perfect fit though I am wearing it a bit sloppy. No worries as I imagine I could pull another link and then micro adjust with the clever diver's extension which is the first I've had in this ratcheting style.

The combination of brushed and polished finishes is nicely executed and this sure seems well put together. Bezel is right on and has no slop with firm positive action. The dial is lovely in classic orange with generously lumed and oversized indices. Lined sword hands make it highly legible.

I am gonna commit to wearing this one a few days and well see how the movement runs out of the box.

Big props to Matt and Courtney for sticking with it and getting this one out.

Congrats Mark!
Thanks for your fist impression.
I just opened the box but haven't unwrapped it yet but like you I was very surprised to find no paperwork or car at all! Oversight at shipping? factory? I was going to PM Matt to inquire out of curiosity.
The orange is real nice, I like your pics a lot... The dial realy pops! I also like the black hands on it!
Congrats on the new arrival, wear it in good health!

Great pictures, Mark.  Another thing I like about this watch is that the area between the lugs is polishes like the sides so that it looks finished when you install a strap instead of the bracelet. Neither my Rolex nor Omega have that.

PAX...thank you for posting my pictures..subtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gif....great looking watch, wears well, and, at least to me, I like it better than the MUCH higher priced Doxa.
