jakisbck wrote: Brotha G I think this Link sent to me by Fellow 3T member DaveD will explain it better than I could :P...also I have included a Pic of My Vintage 1971 Astrographic SST which were 17j autos..the newer versions use the 2824-2...I removed the Seconds Dot Disc as it was faded and the Dial wasn't clear...the Mystery of the Dial is quite simple...there are 3 Clear discs for the seconds dot on top the minute hand second and the hour hand last...all are just revolving discs that give the appearance of floating hands...very Cool but nothing like the Very High End Vincent Calabrese Mystery Watch...I hope this helps and TY to Dave for sending me the Link ![]() http://www.timemachinewatch.com/zodiac/astro.htm Didnt know they had a 2000 version unless your thinking of the Square version which i nthink is much smaller than the round case but dont quote me on this as im not exactly sure. Brotha O I would be dreaming if I could get the original Mystery dial by Vicent B anyway I've seen that site before and that is where I was going to get mine from but I didnt. Mine has the same movt as that one you see there on this site actually the very same watch. You just confused me when you said you wanted the newer version so that is why I asked. Same style, same movt, 200 meters auto cant get any better than that. I just so happened to like the round dial better and also it is much bigger than the square.

Wow that is a very clean movt in an vintage watch. Brotha O you have one of the last of the Xemex's right ? as far as your vintage piece There was a guy who came on sometime ago who had, had all different types of parts for your zodiac but his name escapes me at the moment. Btw that Xemex of yours is very similiar to the Zodiac maybe im wrong. I bought mine on a fire sale the guy wanted to off load it quickly and I was there to take care of his situation.;)

Those are nice. I like most of the mystery type of watches. They used to be more popular than they are now. jakisbck wrote: You guys seen this before but I thought I would post the different faces of....................
