Just received this a few minutes ago via FEDEX. Nice packaging, heavy too. I haven't taken the watch out yet, so a Ken C type picture will have to do along with some pictures of the packaging. It is a 40mm case, GMT Swiss Made ETA movement, sapphire crystal front and back, screw-in bracelet links, screw down crown, rotating 24 hr. bezel, GMT hand, Superluminova treated hands and indicies, etc. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thanks everyone. I gotta email Marc and find out if there is such a thing as metric flat head screws. Meaning the cut in the head. I tried to loosen the screws in the bracelet with my jewelers set and they don't fit snug. Plus, King Kong must have tightened them.

Of course there are metric regulars, but the problem here is probably the use of a jewelers screwdriver. The heads are usually filed way too thin. I've found that a good electricians flathead works great; and you can even put a bit of electrical tape around the head to ensure no scratches. In my engineering opinion (I'm no watchmaker, but I am an engineer :) ), link screws are the largest thread found on a watch - thus the torque used to tighten/loosen is beyond what a regular watchmaker's driver is designed to handle. King Kong did not tighten the screws. The watchmakers back in Germany use loctite when they put the screws in. There is a card in the box that looks like a business card. On the back are instructions for removing the screws. coyote2.gif You must heat the links/screws first. Then you can loosen the darn screws. So, I got out my steam cleaner and gave the links a good blast on the threaded ends. I filed down one of my jewelers screw drivers (sacrificed it) to fit in the holes and the screws came right out. No problem. Now, I have to see if I have the recommended loctite to secure them when I put them back in so they are like they came from the factory.
