Hey I didn't get a t-shirt!! I dumped the straps and put mine on a Watchadoo with combo brushed polished finish... looks damn good. Pretty damn nice knockaround watch though I've never been happy with the bezel.

May it serve you well!!

On the Watchadoo:

Really nice Skip.  That blue dial / orange hand combo is very nice looking.  Sure like the orange dial too.  I was thinking of adding one of these to my "got to get" list.  Sure would like to hear yours and Paxman comments on this watch.  Pros - Cons.

In all honesty this is an O.K. watch. I do like the case, dial, hands and black date wheel quite a bit. the case is solid and rugged. My cons would be the winding stem and bezel. On my NF, the winding stem is flimsy and not at all solid enough to inspire confidence. I haven't had any problems with its operation, it is just not appropriate for such a watch. On my watch the bezel is sloppy and doesn't align perfectly which is a bit of a pet peeve. If the pip is alligned at 12:00, the marker at 3:00 doesn't line up well and vice versa. These are made in Germany supposedly. For a long discourse on the watch see this excellent thread which swirled around when these first starting popping up. Initially they calimed a chronometer grade movement but quickly backed away from that when CJ opened his up and Johnny P and Eric Avery confirmed. Great thread.

Bottom line for me. Good watch which I consider a great beater. Don't know what they are going for now but I certainly wouldn't pay anywhere near to full price for one... no offense intended...jmho!! these are put together by WatchUnion and can be branded any way desired. Not to be confused with the real NauticFish by either Schaumberg or L&B.

Thanks again all. :)

And thanks for that post Paxman. Yea the is a NauticFish not THE NauticFish :D

Something good for shallow swimming and such I'd say or just a nice looking beather with a nice feel to it.

After awhile you will notice some watch name bounce about where you do have to look into the history a bit.

Stan did me good though. ;)
