Weird one here everyone? Sometime last week, my place of work identified 3T as an "adult content" website and I am no longer able to access 3T from my place of work using their internet access....bummer, can't even check it out over the lunch hour anymore. Anyone else have this problem? I realize that Omegaman's Avatar is a little racy, but please???? I don't think I've come across anything resembling "adult content" here at 3T.

The filters may scan for word phrases and now and then bots will register with names that would flag adult content.

You could ask your IT people to allow the site specifically. I had to do that at my work. I know a number of other watch forums are blocked at my work because of the sites designation (typically "forum"). I've never seen one marked as 'adult' though. I can see why however, some of those skeleton watches are all NAKED!!face4.gif

The company I work for is SUPER strict, and they have not yet blocked any Watch Sites. Although my loss of productivity come fantasy football season now that I am a budding WIS may force them to change course. As stated above, you can always ask for the specific site to be allowed. Most IT teams are pretty understanding if you show a need.

Thanks for moving this one Moderators...I struggled with whether this topic should be in the Time Talk section or the OT section...I agree that it belongs in the OT (I almost posted it there). Thanks for the responses all. Although Maxinfliction....I may have a problem showing the IT teams that I have a NEED to access the site. ;):D .....On second thought, we really are all WIS's here at 3T right??....I think that I could probably convince them that this is some sort of very serious condition  :D ![]() ![]() That should fix it!!

Mine blocks any forums. However when you have access to network closets and router and switches and the like there is always the possibility one might make a special port which allows access to the internet outside of filtering. One might also have that port activated in a data jack in their office. This is all theoretical of course...;)

I'm blocked in one school but not in the other two. Strange I guess it is the way the tech in the one school ghosted the machine because it seems that the filter can be set on a global scale and on a personal level. And I'm being lazy about asking for them to unblock it.

Strange that 3T is blocked and considered an adult site when we are, after all, nothing but big kids with nice, shiny toys![]()

On base it is blocked but all forums and live sites are blocked for security reasons. Still you were given a bum deal.:( There is a big difference between and all forum restriction and a specific restriction. Good luck with it. Doug N Plano, TX
