During the past two weeks I have been developing from severe physical pain, from the beatings I sustained as a child. The local hopsital ran some x-rays
and another hospital ran a CAT scan to see what other
hidden damage I may have suffered.

My chest has collpased which is giving me difficulty in breathing and over the weekend my hands have
swollened up,that was due to not having be able to
breathe properly. I am not angry at my dad,in fact
I was man enough years ago to forgave him.

There is cranium pressure on the right side
of my head that is effecting my hearing.
But no signs of a fracture or bloodclot,
this is the most frustrating area because the
doctors who examined me,found nothing from
the CAT scan.

I've been blaming myself for years in having mild
Dyscalculia,a form of dyslexia that pertains to
the inability to comprehend mathematic concepts
and financial planning. This is who I am and have
learned to accept it.

I'm in too much pain to continue to participate
in the forums.

Here are a group of people I would like to thank:

Mark (paxman), John (Skipdawg),Tony D, KenC,
Oscar (Oagaspar),Hucky and the rest of the administration team.

My Fellow WIS:

Murphy J,Paladin,Scottran,Nabco,Omegaman,
Stew77,Jeep99dad,Gregger,Nicolasbdive,Tombs,
DM71 and of course Jeff (bigrustypig).

If I forget anyone I apologize.

You are a marvelous group of people that
I have ever met, give yourselves around of
applause.

It has been a pleasure during the year and a half,
but now I feel the time has come to bid a fond
goodbye and I wish to have my account permanently
removed.

Have a Happy Channukah and a Merry Christmas.

Farewell,
your friend
Simon

Simon,

you are a strog man and forgiving your dad is the best thing you could do, the first step in YOUR recovery, holding grudges inside just eats you for within and cannot take anything back... forgiving doesn't mean forgetting... It takes an incredibly strong person with a big heart and faith to be able to forgive such acts. I know HE is proud of you!

I do hope that the pain subside quickly so you can resume the life you had and you may grace us with your presence and words of wisdon. You will be missed and this is not "air Revoir", just "a bientot mon ami!" I know we'll hear from you again.

I'll be praying for you and wish you the best especially during the Holiday Season!

God bless you and yours, Simon!

Sincerely, Brice

Simon,  I hope things turn around for you and your health gets better.  We will all miss you around here.  Hopefully it is temporary.  If so, be sure to check back in.  Take care and God bless.

I agree with Murph, Simon. Never say never. I'm not sure by what you mean by your chest collapsing but I do know I see surgeons drill burr holes into skull to relieve pressure. If you have a condition which continues to build pressure (hydrocephalus) a stent can be fitted which will drain excess fluid your body to be absorbed. You mustn't give up and I don't think you are, but I want to make sure you keep on keeping on. The biggest challenges you face you have already answered my friend. The physical damage is easy to address. You have made the choice to deal with your emotional issues first and I applaud you for that. Be well brother!

Simon,

I agree with what many others are saying here...forgiving is not forgetting...I believe forgiveness is one of the hardest things to do (especially when your act of forgiveness is for things that most people see as truly unforgivable).  You have, and continue to show, true emotional faith, strength and heart!!!!

As Brice already mentioned...I know that God is so proud of you Simon!!!

I realize this is a public forum (so don't think I'm preaching to you or anything like that ;)...but the God I know wants us well in mind, spirit, and Body...

...you are obviously facing some severe physical pains and challenges in your body Simon...like others have said...DO NOT GIVE UP MAN!!!!...fight the good fight and take advantage of all that medical science has to offer now-days...make sure that you are seeking out the best doctors and care that are available for you.  As has been mentioned...the advances in medical science that we are experiencing today are phenomonal!!!

I will miss your participation in the forums in the short term...but look forward to your return as a healthier and stronger Simon.

Take good care of yourself Simon...I will be keeping you in my prayers for a speedy and full recovery!!

Be blessed,

-Chris
