I like to wear my Seiko diver (black bullet) to work daily, but the supplied Seiko strap doesn't seem to fit me very well. One notch is too loose, and one notch is too tight. I want a new strap that will solve this issue, but I've never purchased an aftermarked strap before. I'd like some opinions on my best solution. Can I get an infinitely adjustable diver's strap? Would a deployment clasp fix my problem? Would a deployment clasp fit my current strap? Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks (the watch in question)

One simple solution is to punch a hole inbetween the holes you use to hit the sweet spot. Otherwise going to another strap may or may not solve the problem. A bracelet would dress up the watch, but it won't guarantee a perfect fit. You might find a bracelet more comfortable though.

a deployant clasp is usually only as adjustable as the band is. I agree with Mike; punch a hole and hope for the best. Its always worked for me (I have tiny wrists) thanks- Marc

I think I'd rather try the bracelet idea before punching a hole in my strap. Any idea how I'd determine which Seiko bracelet will fit my diver? I'd like to get a Jubiliee style. You might also try a cut to fit aftermarket rubber strap. These usually come with a decent deployant and can be cut for a true custom fit. See this link for a large variety of strap vendors. http://www.timetechtalk.com/view_topic.php?id=1283&forum_id=9
