Looks great. I am with Montauk on this one. I think that the blue number 4 dial would look better with the white lume as reflected in the original drawing. Probably the same goes for the green dial.

I think all the other dials looks great with the c3 lume.

Looks great.  I'm starting to warm up more to the #4 sea foam dial.  Any chance you can post a shot in more direct sunlight?

Just a quick question - don't the numbers (15, 30, 45) on the bezel normally face the dial instead of facing out? Every other dive watch I have or have seen has the numbers facing the dial.

Very cool watch though - I can't wait to get one. I just need to decide on my dial color (#4 or #6). So many choices...

My first post on here, by the way. Although I've been lurking for a few weeks!  :) Ralf seems to certainly be a very busy man. He's been extremely patient with all my emails and questions - great customer service!!!

Interesting observation -- but in my opinion it looks good, and opens up the bezel and makes the watch seem bigger, because your eye is drawn to the outside edge of the bezel, as opposed to reading toward the bottom of the number, ie. toward the inside of the dial.

Easily works in the position shown... it would be interesting to learn if this was an intentional design?

I have to agree, I like the numbers as they are facing outward.

The numbers are a prototype mistake. On a dive watch with a rotating bezel, the bottom of the numbers should be adjacent to the dial, and the top of the numbers adjacent to the outer edge of the bezel.

RALF,

I think it looks great because the watch looks bigger... the bezel numbers draw the eye to the outside edge of the case.  My only problem is deciding to order a second Moray w/ black dial or the special Moray green... waiting for a green dial pic so I can decide.

Thanks,

Jim

Most of the time the bezel is going to be with BIP at 12 o'clock.... if you look at the bezel the number 30 is oriented at 6 o'clock.  If the numbers face inward then the 30 would be upside down.  So, it makes sense to have the numbers in this position, because for the most of the "time" the bezel is aligned at 12.  It is an interesting dilemma because no matter which way the numbers point, at some time the numbers will be upside down as the bezel is rotated.
