Zeno ships that watch with a couple movements as of the last into that I got and that was only a month or so ago. It is the luck of the draw as to which one you get. As far as the service issue let it wind all of the way down and take the back off and wind it up and see how much tension in the spring is required to get the balance wheal to start cycling. If it is more than a few than the service may be in order. When it is running check how much time it is loosing if that is substantial than it could also indicate a problem.
