I would try everything you can to get him to honor the description of the sale (although I did not see the description), and after that, regardless of whether or not he ultimately does something, report him to ebay for fraud and file a claim with paypal...keep copies of documentation and emails.  Be aware of your timelines for filing with paypal.  I would start NOW!

If you used a credit card on paypal, you can also dispute the charge there.

I would do what Ken said, you need a full service and cleaning correctly not one of the quicky jobs.  If you can not do it and regulate it you know the costs.

He now says he will "make it right". I had it looked at today for the hell of it. I was told the movement should be serviced. Something i should not have to do since i just got the damn thing. I also noticed the bezel is a click off. mistake.gif A real gem,huh???coyote2.gif Very disappointing for a $ 1000 watch!! Of course none of us who got this watch paid that much.

Perhaps I just got lucky with mine...great fit & finish, solid, everything lined up...not a $1,000 watch by any means, but a solid $500 to $600 piece.

I did see the deal shnoop had on them. I'm kinda "turned off" on the Accutrons after all this. The movement issue being one thing. The bezel being obviously mis-aligned another. I am sure every manufacturer may have a "dud" slip through every now and then, but i am going to look elsewhere. I've had less problems with Invictas....come to think of it...i've NEVER had a problem with an Invicta. Not that i'm looking to get another one, just saying.

Understood...but I believe it was the seller not the manufacturer that caused the problems...god knows what he did with the watch prior to attempting fraud!

Okay...I guess I'll flip my VX200 somewhere else!!! subtlelaugh.gif subtlelaugh.gif subtlelaugh.gif
