Kobold Artic Diver preorder deal expires Apr. 15 Not a cheep watch, but worth mentioning. This watch is one of the Swiss production, and offers a date option. The previous Kobold divers did not have a date feature, with some exceptions. There is allot of other watches that you can purchase it this price range. I enjoy all of my Kobolds. They have proven to good tool watches that just work well. They do offer free shipping on orders over $20, but in the watch world free is a relative term. http://www.koboldwatch.com/products/arctic_diver-swiss.htm

Or they just upped the production number. That is what I would have told them to do if asked. They have never been on time with a watch to date, why start now.

That is the truth. They have not hurd that we are in an economic contraction, they are giving the same excusses they gave a year ago. I know that Mike asks for specific upgades but this is not rocket science. I had to learn rocket science (fluid mechanics of compressible liquids) to learn that this is not rocket science.

Great looking watch... I wish I understood how the price ranges from $1,850 for Arctic Diver all the way to $4,500 + for Soarway Diver? Not sure, if I would get this watch or ZINEX SUPER SUBMARINE ? Jim

The Soraway diver is $3750 because it has a pedigree and comes with upgraded packaging and stainless bracelet. The Arctic Diver that is $5650 shares no parts in common with the Swiss one other than the upper case and case back. It too comes with a lot of goodies. The movement modifications of the "American" Arctic diver take a lot of time and are done my hand for the most part.
