I Recently Purchased a Pentax ist DL from Shoppingsource.com ...WSS/TT. Upon the arrival which was as usual a couple of days after order I opened the Box to find a Used Camera?? Needless to say I was Very Upset..an Obviously Used Cam with Pics on it...I called WSS/CS and was less than Pleasant,but the CS Super who took the call insured me someone would get back to me although the Cam was no longer available...BTW..they knew who I was without the "what's your cust.# and regular 1st.degree I always received at slop"...I hoped I would get this Return call...Which I did within minutes with a very Apologetic CS Exec who said they were looking into it for me and I would receive an answer by days end....I've heard this before...Right ! I e-mailed TT with my Horror story and again within what seemed minutes Scott phoned me and asked what WSS could do to make this Right..Imagine that  ..."What I would Like "not What They are Willing to Do :) I told him all I wanted was a New Cam..that this was obviously used and had pics on it that lead me to believe it was used by WSS? Shortly thereafter Jane phoned me and said Tim read my e-mail and that inadvertantly the Sets Display Cam was Delivered to me.....By now I was feeling like a heel because of my unpleasentness and here WSS/CS is falling over backwards to Please me and I had heard more apologies than ever from any Place I have ever dealt with !! Jane tells me a New Cam was being shipped Overnight FedEX to me that she personally inspected and that a Call Tag was sent to pick up the Old Cam..at No Charge ! The next Day a Return Call was Made by Jane..who by this Point I am in Love with because of her Pleasant Voice and Genuine Concern over what turned out to be an easily explained shipping mishap( and True) asking Me if The New Cam was to my liking and if I was Happy.....Happy...Heck I was Overjoyed...in a matter of hours I had received 4 or 5 calls from CS Supers and Execs all Apologizing and Making everything Right in 24hrs. and a New Cam which was a gift from my son...using My account and $ ...but still a B-Day gift...LOL ! I can only Say that what I hear TT saying about WSS and that They Really Are Different from the Rest is Absolutely True..and They Have a Customer for Life in Me....Thank You WSS and Tim for a More than Positive CS Experience

What an awesome experience! I have to say it's refreshing to find out that there are companies out there that realize that CS is very important in this day and age. The fact is, we as consumers have many choices of where to purchase our good, frankly more sources than any other time in history! The only difference between vendors is price, which is rarely much different from many other choices, and CUSTOMER SERVICE! This is the one area that a vendor can shine in, and do so very cheaply. I firmly believe that this is a top-down attitude, and it's great to hear that someone out there has embraced this philosophy.

Great story, thank you for sharing. I hope someone from S**pNBC has an opportunity to read this, and will take heed.

You'll never get that level of service from SNBC or most other corporations I can think of. Very commendable.

Ah ha guys! At the end of the day, Oscar is not so concerned about the new camera really but A NEW FOUND LOVE!!!!!

CS at any Level is Commendable...but this Was an Experience that Assured  a Customer would be one Forever....as Described by a Host on another Channel...."WSS is the Mom and Pop hardware store and SNBC is Home Depot"....Give Me the Mom&Pop store Anytime because they are the ones who want to keep their Customers Happy with not only great Products,but Service after the Sale:) and Jacky....Everyone who took the Time to Call me were Gracious and Highly Professional...Jane was the Voice of Calming Beauty...
