Congrats John !....Looks Like You Found What You Were Looking For Maybe You can post a Link and Or Pics when It Arrives!..............................................Now for the Dreaded Wait  Hi Jacky

I found a automatic Tauchmeister 1000m T44 I liked for 100+ shipping. I didn't really need for depth. I purchased because of hoped durability and water resistance. I hope I am happy when I get it . Again tahnks for your input and help for making what I think was a good choice. Please let me know if you agree.

Thanks again

John

Hi Jacky

Here is the info on the watch I bought. Please give me your honest opinion. I would rather know if I made a mistake before it arrives so I can refuse it for misrepresentation. Let me know what you think also Q.A. Gaspar. I really appreciated both your help.

John

Technische Daten:

- Profi Heliumventil auf 9:00 Uhr, um bei Außendruckreduzierung (z.B. Auftauchen) das sich ansammelnde

Helium schnell genug aus der Uhr leiten zu können

- Anzeige "Zentralisierte Sekunde"

- Datumsfeld auf 3 Uhr (Schnellverstellung durch Krone in Pos.1 Drehung im Uhrzeigersinn)

- hochwertiges Automatik Laufwerk mit 21 Juwelen als Lagersteine (Miyota 8215 )

- einseitig rastbare Taucher-Lünette

- Spezialbeschichtete Leuchtzeiger und Indexe "Nachteinsatz geeignet"

- Edelstahlgehäuse  Durchmesser ca. 46 mm; Höhe ca. 14,4 mm;

- Dichtheits-polygon-verschraubte Krone "Durchmesser ca. 5,5mm

- 1000 Meter wasserdicht "nach ISO-Norm für Taucheruhren "

- Saphir Glas

- Gehäuseboden wurde "temperiert-verschraubt", um die Dichtheitsgrenze 100atm garantiert zu erreichen

- hochwertiges Taucherarmband "Macuraflex" (max. Arm-Umfang 270 mm) mit Dornenschließe

- 24 Monate Herstellergarantie

- Lieferung inkl. Zertifikat.

Anmerkung:

Hi John,

It is an auto all right! Jakisbck(Greg) has this watch! Maybe he can tell you more. But this is basically a good watch and good price too!

The only part I doubt is the sapphire crystal. I think it is just a marketing gimmick. Cos what I know these watches are with mineral. But recently I also saw them with sapphire crystal at german online stores. But seriously, I don't believe it. Anyway it is not a big problem as mine(sold) was with mineral and there was no a scratch on it.

The next thing you might like to look for is a 22mm rubber or bracelet for it. Cos the original rubber is extra long! I think a 9" wrist can wear too! LOL!!! Here is a good bracelet for it:

John,

Just go to ebay and type 22mm under Jewels and Watches category. This bracelet is sold by an Aussie ebayer named, watchadoo.
