Still Sounds Like a Problem Gregger.....Mine Winds Easily and as Much as I Want.....If it Were a Mechanical like a Unitas I could See 20/30 Winds and then Stop....especially the Executives which Have More Resistance than any of My Others but an Automatic Should Not Stop  OK one more time....I went home today and tried to wind the watch...It does wind more than I thought which is around 20 times but it isn't as ez as the Myota (sp) 8215...Does this seem right???
Last dumb question....I assume you wind it clockwise....sorry had to ask :D never had a 2824 before.

Yes wind it clockwise.  Wear the watch for a week or so and see if the crown loosens up and get back to us on it.  Some will loosen over time.  The warranty is life time so give it a week.  I will tell you what Dr. Brunson told me there is no such thing as a dumb question.

It was always hard to wind but I never gave it much thought as I would wind it a few times and put it on and let my wrist do the rest. But maybe it will loosen up I'll have to work with it for a week and if it doesn't get any better I'll call LP and ask them..Heck its a life time warrenty! Thanks everyone!

OK, Today I was over my Dad's house and I checked his JL with th eta 2824 and his winds the same so I figure that it must be the way 2824's operate. Maybe I'm just to use to the 8215 Myota (sp).......The reason why I ask is I'm considering selling my LP Monaco and I wouldn't want to sell the watch if there was a problem......I would send it to be fixed first then sell it....
