Interesting how they chose 2 screws for each corner in the top, but only 1 in each corner of the bottom.

What's the WR on it?

Just the distance around the circumference and the force that needs to be applied on the gasket.  Marc it could not have been that long since you took statics, you have been playing around in space to long.:D:D:D

Pax to answer a question you asked on sat., I wear my watches on the left.  The large divers with a can are normally warn on the right, just to be more comfortable.

Sorry, but I post things and expect everyone to know what I mean Statics is Vector Mechanics of things that are not in motion in a relative sense, or the forces on things that are not in motion.

But the back can't be that thick. You'd think flexure would come into play -

anywho, awesome shot, nice watch!

Marc, I was just messing with you.  The case back is thick 2mm +/-, but I believe the need was more due to the gasket.  It is a rigid polymer that will out last us more than likely, and it seems to require more contact force.  I would guess that the limiting factor on the water resistance was due to the crystal, the eng. is solid.  They could have taken the easy way out and used a silicon or rubber gasket but it is a Corum and they go the extra mile and highly decorate a movement that can not be seen.
