Just as a side note, I have instigated a charge back to my CC from Paypal before and not had my account suspended. I filed a dispute with Paypal first won the dispute and then issued the charge back. Plus being a geek I found out where the guy lived who took my money and made sure that Paypal and my CCC knew I knew. I think they both decided it was better to make me happy rather than risk me taking a big stick to the guy and opening themselves up to some kind of liability. Then again maybe I just got lucky.

Shopnbc has pretty much always rigged their own auctions on their own site. It is no surprise to me that they would do the same thing on ebay. For what its worth, other big time watch sellers on ebay have also 'appeared' to have had shill bidders in the past and currently. The average guy selling his watch most likely won't be doing this crap.
