My wife is going to buy me one of these watches and I am going crazy trying to make a decision.  I am starting to lean towards the Sinn U1 with a bracelet.  Please chime in.

Are there any other places to buy a U1 in the states rather then Watchbuys?

Thanks....

I couldn't be more excited about it. But I have to agree that all the watches you posted are very nice in their way.
The Sinn seems like an extremly rugged piece and the kenzo is really smoooth.

Wow!! You have a fantastic wife!! Out of your choices I would eliminate the O7 and then have to think long and hard!!

Personally where I sit today I would be drawn to the Kenzo. In truth, you can't go wrong with any of your options.

Please keep us updated!

I don't own either, but , from a "bang-for-the-buck" standpoint, I would go for KENZO.  From a design standpoint, although they are completely different, they are both "knockouts"!

SINN has an excellent reputation and, on the build of the KENZO, I will take Oscar's expert word on the excellent quality.

Last but not least...I have never been (for a variety of reasons) an Ocean7 fan.

hmmmmmm.....tough decision as the SinnU1 is a gotta have watch imho but you could probably swing a Kenzo which imo is worth double the selling price and almost sold out at this point and a demo Enzo if any are left for the same price as the U1 on bracelet would run youwoohoo.gifThere are other Sinn dealers but Watchbuys is the best as far as I'm concerned....they have the Sinn advantage guarantee and all service work for us Staties is done at RGM in P.A so you can't beat that...they will bargain on some watches if you ask and are very easy to deal with as are Kenzo and Enzo! hand6.gif With either one you choose you can't go wrong ... in all honesty I would be jumping on the SinnU1 especially seeing it would be a gift from your wife!

I have to agree. Enzo's are beautiful. Second on my list would be the Kenzo I think. I really like how the case of that watch is done. Sinn is nice but I'd probably like the U2 better I think, I like the gmt-function in the watch. Hey enzo, make a watch with an extra 24h hand! Please? Pretty please? But not too fast though, I have to save up some more money first! :D

The oceans are nice watches too but for some reason they haven't gotten me...yet! ;)

The current price from Watchbuys is $1730.  Do these guys have any give on the price?  This watch seems to have gone up $600 in a year.  Every used one I have seen has been gone in short order.

I would go for the Kenzo because it is more unique among dive watch enthusiasts - I do agree - the price point that it is selling at is a good one.  The Sinn, you can get a better deal waiting for a used one to pop up on the sales forums.  I cannot comment on the Enzo but I've heard they are outstanding - they do use the same basic case as Schaumberg, Nauticfish, and Ocean7 (LM-3) though.  I wish they came with a more functional bezel, ala LM-3.  The LM-6 looks like a nice watch styled almost in the style of a SAR but I wish the lume markers have more contrast with the dial on the orange and yellow versions.

Don't look at the soon-to-be Ocean7 LM-7 or you'll be even more confused..toon1.gif
