By the book, the power reserve is 41 hours on the Molnija 3603.  On the Poljot 3105, my experience is that it is as much as 63 hours.

Enjoy the watch, You bought it to wear and show off. Not to collect dust in a box. Yeah that sucks about the packaging big time. I'd be pissed to. But looking at that watch might help that felling subside.

Yea Dan , I think thats the positive way to look at it .... the watch is what Pax wanted .... and he has display box's he uses anyway ..... I think he has like 5 different winders that go each with 2 or 4 or more watches in each box ... then hes got like 10 display boxes all organized into catagories woohoo.gif

it all looks "smashing"! Next picture might have to be of that "box" as firewood. Amazing to think what an engaging thread this has been- conversations about storm doors (don't need them in warm climates), I learned a lot about Russian movements and we learn that Pax is very organized with a lot of storage space. Pax- I think we need a pic of all the display boxes and all the winders together...

Reports of my organizational skills have been greatly exagerated!!toon1.gif

As an update I received an email this morning from one Elayne Smith who I copied on my original email to SAH from this weekend. She stated SAH will file a claim with DHL and I am to hang on to the packaging until further notice. She made no mention of the item or a replacement box or discount. Truth be told, she was pretty snippy as I made mention I was a 3T member and she apparently doesn't care one way or the other. And after all the free advertising we give them!!

So, I decided to call customer service to make sure something had been noted. They could only tell me a claim was going to be filed and were surprised to hear the watch was undamaged although I clearly stated this in my email to customer service.  I requested a replacement box and was told they would let me know if thisw is possible in about 7 - 10 business days. I guess we'll see where this ends up. In the meantime I am going to start enjoying the watch!!

The Watch show move to JTV may prolong this some but really shouldn't SAH should handle it all for it was their baby at purchace. But knowing how blame cam be shuffled all over the place in matters like this good example slopnbc are masters at that. In 05 it took them 9 weeks to resolve a matter that should have been done in no more than 9 minutes. :X :?

Just hope they can come through for ya. I sure hope the JTV team is on top of there game much better with CS and all that. the SAH CS folks have not impressed me much either over the last 2 years. :(
