Just got this late today. I have to say this is a pretty impressive watch. Having had the $99 model (can't remember the #) in silver, this is a huge step above in presentation and quality. At least that is my first impression. I didn't take the plastic off the back yet. Just shot the pics as is. The strap is so so, but that won't be a struggle to replace :D For some reason I thought the bezel rotated, but it doesn't. Fit and finish is excellent. Now the :?: is the winding procedure. The watch wasn't running when I opened the box. I was only able to wind it 5 times before I hit the STOP. So, I will let it run down and try again. It does not look fully wound at the moment. Obviously, 5 turns is not what you'd expect to wind the watch. ![]() ![]()

That is a nice looking homage to the Omega. Someone should start making a list of all off these homage watches. Personally, I don't think it would hurt these guy's sales if they gave credit to the orignal designers. It may even help. I don't have a problem with buying a homage. I do have a problem with these idiots claiming that it is their design. What is even more sickening is when they bring their grandparents into it.:D mcwright wrote: Just got this late today. I bought the same watch approximately one month ago. I was also surprised by the non-rotating bezel and thought the strap was lame. It definitely winds far more than five times, so it's possible you have a defective one on your hands. I'd give it, er, time.

I wound it at 4 PM and it is still going at 11:07 PM. It is possible that the watch was partially wound when I got it. It won't be the first watch I have received that was wound, but not running upon opening the box. So, I don't know yet. It seems to run just fine so far.
