Hey guys,

I want to introduce the latest addition to my watch collection. After looking around for a tool watch that fit my sensibilities, I chose the Corvus Bradley for several reasons; gorgeous sapphire 15-30-45 bezel, no-date mil-dot dial, tegimented bead-blast finish, not-too-large 41.3mm diameter, and not too tall at 13.3mm. The straw that broke the camels back was the fact that Mike at Corvus said that he could make me up a destro version at the factory for no additional cost. According to Mike, it's the only one made in this configuration. Haven't setup for a good shot yet, so I'm uploading a quick and dirty wrist shot from my iPhone.

Mike at Corvus was super nice and kept me updated with delivery times. Having worn it for a few days I'm hooked on it. The Bradley has a nice solid feel and fits well on my flattish 7-inch wrist. Being a professional programmer and stuff, I spend about 10+ hours a day at the keyboard and the destro option has been a real hand-saver.

Now, if the Korsbek Hydro Explorer can just wait until October or so, my watch budget should be able to stay under control. :-)

Nice to have the uniqueness and utility of the destro especially if you are chained to a keyboard for such long stretches. And yes, some better pix would be highly appreciated.toon1.gif

Thanks guys. Is this shot better? I don't have the time to get my camera out so again with my iPhone, but slightly better setup this time. On a Maratac Elite strap with blue stitching.

Showed it to a co-worker today and I was surprised that he said it reminded him of the Blancpain Fifty-Fathoms. I told him that this was based on the original spec for the government contract for which Blancpain built the original FF. I'm really loving the simple clarity of the dial; all it takes is glance to see if I'm late/early to my next meeting. It isn't a BP FF, but it's smaller, has a better surface treatment and most of all has the crown in "right" side.

One thing I like better on the FF is the font on the bezel; being a bit of a font nerd, I think the font on the reissued FF looks better and cleaner than the one on the Corvus, but the Corvus Bradley is truer to the original. Cheers!

That's very nice. Love the bezel. What does "destro" nean?
