Well, sorry my friend... but I think you will like it!  And I had thought about the scorpion also,  will look forward to your review of it when it comes in.

Damnit Steve! I guess I need to buy one now. Oh, I did order a scorpion at the presale price, even though I waited so long, they still honored the 499.00 price instead of the 699.00 now.

It is a nice watch. I happen to like it on the carbon fiber strap.

No Scorpion for me. I see enough of them in my garage and in my house in the summer. NO THANKS to one on my wrist.

It is a solid looking watch. Super cool. I just couldn't have it on my wrist. My wife has been stung twice. coyote2.gif

Double ouch...  yeah, I see where you're coming from.  Course, you could always have the 'scorpion' logo removed from the dial and replaced with a nice '3T'...

Quick update on movement accuracy,  after 3 days it is running at about +1 to +2 seconds/day.  Pretty good for a non-regulated 2824-2 movement after only about 2 months of use.  Compare this to the similar movement I had in the Bathys auto I traded for this one, which was running at +15 seconds/day.  I would say, all things considered, I made a helluva trade...;)

I've been trying really hard not to like the LM1 but that darned dial and hands is calling to me!

Great Review and photos!
