Never really fancied them because of the manual HRV. It always made the watch look unbalanced, but I took a chance an picked up a used one for a pretty decent price. Hell of a surprise. In the flesh it really is a bloody nice watch. Packaging is superb and the watch is just a classic. I can see why people raved over them for all these years.

Here's a couple of quick pics.

Pete

Thanks guys. It really is funny buying a "quality" watch which has been well worn but not abused for a reasonable price. It was the same with the Superocean I had. I just used it as a beater and I never felt like I wanted to mollycoddle it or wrap it in cotton. It's the same with this Seamaster. It was someone's daily wear for a couple of years and it still looks great. I'll dress up the case and bracelet a wee bit but the Wabi it has looks great. I just can't imagine my Doxas or Sea-Dweller getting worn the way this one did and that's actually sad in a way. Well pleased with this purchase.

Pete

After owning several Seamasters I can say that they are truly fine watches ... they compare favorably to any dive watch in that price range .... they do not skimp on quality .... nice addition doc

Looks great!  Congrats!

I have 3 Omega's but haven't picked up a Seamaster yet ... It's been on my wish list for a while though!
