I won this on Ebay a few months back. The watch was in pretty good shape and I paid $103 for it. The great thing about the watch is the chrono worked fine and reset back to 0 everytime which is pretty rare for these old watches. However the date didn't change and it wasn't keeping time although it did run. So I took it to my local watch maker and he fixed it. I guess the date ring was broken. $40 with labor. So for under $145 I have a pretty good old Seiko. The lume still glows pretty bright for a 30+ year old watch. I may have it relumed at some point if I can get it away from my wife. She loves it !!! I'll also get a better bracelet but the Seiko one that came with it is ok for now. I'll get some better shots when I have time. This is the ebay one.

Cool looking Seiko, congrats - case and bracelet remind of Doxa. Any info on it - production date, movement etc? ;)

I've heard the Seiko 6139 movement was the first auto Chrono on the market. I would date this in the 60's sometime. I need to look the the number on it and figure it out. I think at best you can only figure out the era and not the exact date it was made. They don't have much a value they are more of just a cool watch. It does remind me of a Doxa style with that style case. It measures about 42 mm, 19mm lug width and about 15mm deep.
